1. Information We Collect
When you create a profile or register an account on Ghanalance, we collect information necessary to enable skills discovery: your name, trade/skills, portfolio images, phone number, WhatsApp contact, and general geographic location (city and service suburbs).
2. How Your Information is Used
Your professional details are indexed publicly to allow clients seeking services to discover, view work samples, and contact you directly. We do not sell or lease user contact numbers to third-party advertising telemarketers.
3. Privacy-First Talent Verification (Zero National ID Collection)
To safeguard personal privacy and prevent identity exposure, Ghanalance does NOT collect, store, or require national ID cards (Ghana Cards) or biometric records. Artisan and talent verification is conducted strictly through real craftsmanship audits: photos of completed job sites, verified digital portfolios, and direct confirmation with previous client references.
4. Payment & Mobile Money Data
All subscription payments for Individual Premium (GH₵49) and Business Premium (GH₵119) are processed via PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways (Paystack). Ghanalance never stores raw Mobile Money PINs or credit card CVV codes.
